APPLICATION Friction and wear tester is used to study friction and wear characteristics in sliding contacts under dry and lubricated conditions Sliding occurs between the stationary pin and a rotating disc and the normal load, rotational speed, and wear track diameter are the variables to meet the test conditions. Tangential force and wear are acquired with electronic sensors and recorded on a PC.
