Description
Application:
FTIR spectroscopy is an analytical technique that measures the absorption or transmission of infrared light by a sample, providing information about its chemical composition and functional groups. Fourier transform changes the data from intensity as a function of time into intensity as a function of frequency to reveal an IR spectrum. The IR spectrum can be presented either as absorbance or transmission. FTIR can be used to characterize the chemical composition of materials, including organic, polymers, and inorganic materials.
